Sinus Infections Still Suck

I just looked at the date on the post I made about the sinus infection I've been fighting and noticed I've been dealing with this nonsense for a month now! Ugh!  It's showing no signs of improving either.  Well, I'm not coughing up my lung every morning, but I still have the stuffy head(it's really bad today) and this damn "runny 1 second, dry and stuffy the next" nose thing going on.  Mixed in with a dash of a constant cough and sneeze.

To be fair, I guess it's not really a sinus infection, just this damn weather changing every day.  60 one day, 20 the next.  It just needs to make up it's mind so I can live a day without popping some Tylenol Sinus pills.  Which I just did, and am going to go lay down and attempt to feel human

Broke PS4, New PS4 Ordered

I bought a PS4 on launch day, which was in November.  After about 2 months it broke.  The disc drive was shot.  It wouldn't accept any discs and every 10-15 seconds it would make a noise like it was ejecting a disc, even though nothing was inside of it.  It's covered under Sony's one year warranty, or I bought the Best Buy Geek Squad protection.  I let it sit for a couple weeks seeing as though I wasn't really playing it.  Lo and behold, it started working again.....only to fail again a few days later. It was time to take it in.  I returned it to Best Buy and got a store credit as they had none in stock.  So began the process of stalking all the Best Buys in my area.  And I was spamming Bestbuy.com at least 10 times a day.  Every time "sold out online" came up.  After coming home from work, for whatever reason I pulled out my tab abd thought I'd try again.  BAM! "Add to cart" popped up.  I quickly clicked it and bought it.  So I'll have my PS4 in time for inFAMOUS.  Disaster avoided!

I'm going to see my 4th Broadway show tonight.

Aladdin on Broadway it is! It was part of my Christmas present to my wife. I'm sure I'll post tomorrow with my thoughts on it.

In other news, I'm still fighting the sinus infection.  I dont feel as blah tonight, but it's still making its presence known.

As for the rest of the day, im just going to take it easy and relax until we head in to the city.  Later everyone

Sinus Infections Suck!

I've been fighting one for the last few days.  All the typical symptoms: dry eyes, constantly feeling tired, hacking up half a lung every morning, stuffy head, etc.  Nothing major, but just enough to throw me off and cause me to feel like crap. I just took some Tylenol Sinus stuff, let's see if this helps.  Oh and coffee.  Coffee helps everything.

A Terrifying Experience

Earlier today I was out at the mall with my wife and daughter finishing up some last minute shopping. We were getting ready to head to the checkout, I was holding my wife's money because she has a terrible habit of losing it.  She was just about to ask me for money to checkout and I was going to take my daughter up to ride those little carousels you see in a mall.  Then I heard something, it honestly sounded like 3 thuds.  Then, panic.  People shouting, running everywhere. I grabbed my daughter and picked her up, with my wife in front of me we headed for the exit.  I was trying to call 911, but apparently so was everyone else. The lines were jammed! I couldn't get a call through.  We made it to our car and drove away from the mall ASAP.  Thankfully were all safe and it was a false alarm(more on that in a second) but man let me tell you, had it happened 60 seconds later, I'd have had my daughter and been separated from my wife with no way to get in touch with her.  I'd have been a wreck.  Again, thankfully that wasn't the case and what ended up happening was slightly comical and were able to make light of the situation.  The story goes police officers were attempting to stop a shoplifter and tackled him.......into a fairly large display case and caused it tumble over.  People mistook it for gunshots and panicked.  Understandably so, but its still insane that we live in a world where this is a legit fear.  Like I said, were fine and our hearts have stopped pounding.  I'm going to go enjoy my Christmas with my family, hopefully you are too!
